Skepticism is open minded. 🤷♂️

Cynicism is closed minded. 😡

Skepticism says: “I don’t know. Let’s look at all the evidence.” 🤷♂️

Cynicism says: “It’s probably bad, so I’m only looking for evidence which confirms that.” 😡

Skepticism focuses on impartiality, being unbiased. It wants the objective truth, even if that means the truth goes against one’s personal beliefs and biases. 🙌

Cynicism focuses on pessimism, negativity. It mistakes one’s beliefs and biases for a compass to use toward objective truth. 😡

🌟 What some people mistake for “skepticism” is actually cynicism under the guise of skepticism. 🌟

So the next time you’re in a situation trying to understand the bigger picture, be sure you’re separating your beliefs and biases from the facts themselves. ↔️

Are you looking for the truth, wherever it leads? Or are you only looking for what you WANT to be true? 🤔

Are you willing to embrace Uncertainty for an extended period of time? Or will you accept the quickest answer so you can get back to Certainty? 🤔

It’s something to think about…🙂
